H(10) represents the altitude of the hot air balloon after 10 minutes' change. In this case, at the beginning, the hot air balloon is at an altitude of 210, unit unknown, every minute it decreases by 15.
h(10)=210-15*10=60
10 minutes later it is at an altitude of 60

 t<span> represents time, which is the input of the function, so we know that 10 is the time in minutes. </span>h(t<span>) represents the altitude, which is the output of the function after time, </span>t. So, we need to substitute 10 into 210 – 15t<span> in place of </span>t<span>. Simplifying 210 – 15(10), we get  that 60 is the altitude in feet. So, after 10 minutes, the hot air balloon is at 60 feet. </span>

9(5x + 1) ÷ 3y
alexdok [17]

The expression obtained after solving the given expression is,\rm \frac{(15x+3)}{y}

<h3>What is a BODMAS rule?</h3>

For the Bracket, Order, Division, Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction rules, BODMAS stands for Bracket, Order, Division, Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction.

Given expression ;

9(5x + 1) ÷ 3y

Follow the BODMAS rule;

Step 1; Divide

\rm \frac{9(5x+1)}{3y} \\\\ \frac{3(5x+1)}{y} \\\\

Step 2; Multiply

\rm \frac{9(5x+1)}{3y} \\\\ \frac{(15x+3)}{y} \\\\

Hence the expression obtained after solving the given expression is,\rm \frac{(15x+3)}{y}

38600 mg = n dag what does n equal???
Vlad [161]
Answer:
n = 3.68

Explanation:
We know that:
1 mg is equivalent to 0.0001 dag
To convert 38600 mg to dag, we will simply use cross multiplication as follows:
1 mg ..............> 0.0001 dag
38600 mg ......> n

n = (38600*0.0001) / 1
n = 3.68

Hope this helps :)

Ermias and Jeremiah both leave the bookstore at the same time, but in opposite directions. If Jeremiah travels 8 mph faster than
leva [86]

Using proportions, it is found that Ermias is traveling at a rate of 11 mph and Jeremiah at a rate of 19 mph.

<h3>What is a proportion?</h3>

A proportion is a fraction of a total amount, and the measures are related using a rule of three.

Jeremiah travels 8 mph faster than Ermias, hence their velocities are:

x, x + 8

They travel in opposite directions, hence in one hour they are 2x + 8 apart.

In eight hours, the distance is 8(2x + 8), which is of 240 miles, hence:

8(2x +8) = 240

2x + 8 = 30

2x = 22

x = 11.

Then:

  • x = 11 -> Ermias.
  • x = 11 + 8 = 19 -> Jeremiah.
