Answer:A) Can form ozone and block some UV radiation

Explanation: Ozone layer is made up of three oxygen atoms,it is formed as a result of the break down of oxygen in the high atmosphere by Ultraviolet radiation from the Sun,it will break an oxygen molecule into two parts and this will now combine with oxygen molecule available in the atmosphere to form OZONE( combination of three oxygen atoms). Ozone layer is the shield which helps to reduce the direct impact of the Sun radiation from aversely affecting the Earth.

What is Earth's period?
Irina18 [472]
The word year is also used for periods loosely associated with, but not identical to, the calendar or astronomical year, such as the seasonal year, the fiscal year, the academic year, etc. Similarly, year can mean the orbital period of any planet; for example, a Martian year and a Venusian year are examples of the time a planet takes to transit one complete orbit. The term can also be used in reference to any long period or cycle, such as the Great Year.[2]
