- <u>Conflict with Rakhine State</u> – the three minorities from this State have been in a long fight with the government. One of the more recent conflicts has happened in 2019. when they attached the police in an armed attack.
<u>As of February 1st, 2021. Myanmar military has taken over the government and proclaimed a year-long emergency stated. This has happened once before and ended in many deaths. This conflict arose over the elections.</u>
