The major shift to autonomy is a big challenge. It occurs in toddlers and adolescence. Parents help their children to make a sense of self in autonomy. The sense of self was related to governing the belief, thinking, and feelings independently.
The adolescence has more understanding than toddler because they develop their sense of self quickly than the toddler. They are more confident about their abilities. All parents want their children to get to grow in this sense and to live a happy and productive life in their adulthood. This is transformation is necessary but it comes with little difficulties for both son and daughter mother and father.
