Step-by-step explanation:

x- red candy

y- blue candy

x + y = 11

1.29x + .79y = 11.19

129x +79y = 1119

-129x -129y = -1419

-50y = -300

y = 6 lbs. blue

x + 6 = 11

x = 5 lbs. red

Answer:

[b, r] → [$5, $6]

Step-by-step explanation:

{11 = r + b

{11,19 = 1,29r + 0,79b

-1,2658227848[11,19 = 1,29r + 0,79b]

{11 = r + b

{-14,164556962 = -1,6329113924r - b

________________________________________

-3,164556962 = -1,6329113924r

______________ ________________

-1,6329113924 -1,6329113924

6 ≈ r [Plug this back into both equations to get an approximate b-value of 5]; 5 ≈ b

I hope this helps you out alot, and as always, I am joyous to assist anyone at any time.

Do ya'll have any suggestions about this?

Hello, I know your situation. Ask them for another chance. Ask them to forgive you and you will do your homework. Say "If this continues, then I accept full consiquinses". Make sure you ACTUALLY stick to what you say. Now, to the focusing part... Try to do ATLEAST 2 lessons for each class. (depends what school you are attending) If it seems that you are finishing too fast (less than 2 hrs), then do more homework until your homework hours fits you.

Goodluck!

God Bless you!!!

PLEASE HELPP PLEASE find the zeros and factored form of c(x)=3x^2-3
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

3 ( x-1) (x+1) is the factored form

zeros are x=1, -1

Step-by-step explanation:

3x^2-3

Factor out a 3

3 ( x^2 -1)

What is inside the parentheses is the difference of squares

( a^2 -b^2) = ( a-b)(a+b)

3 ( x-1) (x+1)

To find the zeros, set this equal to zero

3 ( x-1) (x+1) =0

Using the zero product property

x-1 =0 x+1 =0

x=1, x=-1

The United States consumes 2.6 billion cases of bottled water per year. Assume that each case holds 24 ½-liter bottles. Each cas
rusak2 [61]
So first find the circumfernece of the earth which is 24,901 times 5280
use a calculator
24,901 times 5280=131,477,280ft
1 ft=12 inches so 131,477,280 times 12=157,727,360 in
so 157,727,360 divide by the legnth of the case=1,577,727,360/15.1=104,485,255.62914 cases to go around the earth once so
million=1000 thousand
billion=1000 million
billion=1,000,000,000
2.6 billion=2,600,000,000
so 2,600,000,000/104,458,255.62914=24.88 or rounded up they would go around the earth close to 25 times

AREA OF THE BASES
base=legnth times width so 15.1 times 8.3 =125.33 in^2
multiply 125.33 in^2 by 2,600,000,000 and get 325,858,000,000 in^2 or 3.25858 times 10^11=area of the bases

PERIMETER OF THE BASES
perimeter of the bases 2Legnth+2Width times 2.6 billion
2(15.1)+2(8.3)=46.8
46.8 times 2.6 billion=121,680,000,000 inches or 1.2168 times 10^11= perimeter of all the bases

VOLUME
24 1/2 liter bottles means 24 times 1/2=12 liters in each pack
2.6 billion times 12=31,200,000,000 liters or 3.12 times 10^10
