g(x)/f(x)  = x^2 / (3x + 5)
set  denominator equals 0.
so
3x + 5 = 0
3x = -5
  x = -5/3

Therefore x cannot equal -5/3

Domain (-∞ , -5/3) ∪ (-5/3, ∞)
