|\Omega|=6\\ |A|=\underbrace{2}_{\text{greater than 4}}+\underbrace{3}_{\text{shaded}}-\underbrace{1}_{\text{shaded 5}}=4\\\\ P(A)=\dfrac{4}{6}=\dfrac{2}{3}

Given that there are 6 sections so possible number of outcomes are 6.

We need a number greater than 4 or on a shaded section.

number greater than 4 are "5,6".

Shaded numbers are "1,3,5".

"OR" means any of above outcomes is favorable i.e. "1,3,5,6" are favorable outcomes.

number of favorable outcomes = 4

Probability is basically "[favorable number of outcome] / [total number of outcomes]"

Hence probability that the spinner will land on a number greater than 4 or on a shaded section is 4/6 which can be simplified to 2/3.

So 2/3 is the final answer.

jamie joined the marching band. to pay for a uniform, he borrowed $150 for 4 months with 5% interest per month. what was the toa
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer: $ 180

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, the amount he borrow = $ 150

Also, After borrowing the money for the dress he is charged 5% per month for 4 months,

Thus, The total amount of dress

A = \text{ The initial amount of the dress + The interest he paid for the dress}

A = 150 + \frac{150\times 5\times 4}{100}

A = 150 + 30 = 180\text{ dollars}

Hence, the total amount of the dress = $180

statuscvo [17]

Answer:

Assuming you're solving for <em>n</em>, 1. n=-1 2. n=-1.6

Step-by-step explanation:

1. -5(2-5n)+6=-5n-34-2

Distributive Property

-10+25n+6=-5n-32-2

Add Like Terms

-4+25n=-5n-34

Subtract -4

25n=-5n-30

Subtract -5n

30n=-30

Divide by 30

n=-1

2. -5(2-5n)+6=-5n-34-20

Distributive Property

-10+25n+6=-5n-32-20

Add Like Terms

-4+25n=-5n-52

Subtract -4

25n=-5n-48

Subtract -5n

30n=-48

Divide by 30

n=-1.6
