before the usage of technology such as computers, records became documented through papers separated in folders. I think computers have helped a lot, because they can do things better, and faster. Like for documentry they can put a lot of info. into one computer memory system, rather then having thousands of pages and folders, also, they have supported many services because they help nerses/Docters train to be a great docter/nerse. All together i think they play a major roll in the healthcare industry.
