The formula for area is A = bh
B = Length
H = Width

If B is 5 times longer than H...

A = 5x(x)

Now let's solve

20000 = 5(x)(x)
20000 = 5x^2
   /5          /5
  4000 = x^2
    *square*
      20 = x

The height (width) is 20. (x)
The base (length) is 100 (5x -> 5(20) -> 100)

Proof: 20 times 100 = 20000

NEED QUICKLY <br> Write the equation of the line shown below?
grandymaker [24]

y = x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

General formula for any straight line:

y = mx + c

Where

m = gradient

c = constant

m = y2 - y1/x2 - x1

m = (4 - ( -2))/(2 - ( -4))

m = 6/6

m = 1

y = (1)x + c

y = x + c

Substitute any coordinate from the line of the equation.

4 = 2 + c

c = 2

substitute m and c into general formula

y = mx + c

y = x + 2
