Answer:

The two main issues of the Arab-Israeli conflict are Israeli security and Palestinian independence.

Explanation:

The Arab-Israeli conflict is a confrontation between a number of Arab countries, as well as Arab paramilitary radical groups of the Palestinian territories controlled by Israel, on the one hand, and the State of Israel, on the other. Although the State of Israel was created only in 1948, in fact, the history of the conflict spans about a century, beginning at the end of the 19th century, when the political Zionist movement was created, which laid the foundation for the struggle of Jews for their own state.

After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire as a result of its defeat in the First World War, the conflict between the Zionist Jews and the Arab population of Palestine was reduced mainly to the territorial claims of both sides on the British Mandate of Palestine. In the course of the situation in the second quarter of the 20th century, the religious and cultural components that reinforced ethnic hatred were added to the geopolitical component. In 1948, neighboring Arab countries declared war on the newly created Jewish state. Thus, the conflict went beyond Palestine and grew into a conflict between Israel and all other Arab states in the region.

How did the Twenty-Sixth Amendment address the concerns of American youth during the Vietnam War?
Zina [86]

Answer:

C. It brought young people, who had been disillusioned by the government's handling of the war, into the political process.

Explanation:

The 26th amendment to the Constitution granted all persons of the age 18 or older the right to vote. Prior to this amendment, the legal voting age was 21.

Since this amendment allowed for younger people to vote, it gave them a voice in politics and adjoined them to the political process.
