Answer:

The correct answer is C. The table describes the life of Frederick Douglass.

Explanation:

Frederick Douglass was a revolutionary, politician, orator, writer. After escaping from the slave life in Maryland, he became the leader of the abolition of slavery and social reforms. His influence spanned through the whole American territory and he struggled for the rights of black people throughout his life. He was one of the representatives of the abolitionist movement.

At the age of eight, Douglas was sent to Baltimore to work with a relative of his master. He later worked in a shipyard. He fled in 1838 to Newford, Massachusetts. He returned to work in his old shipbuilding career, but his colleagues did not accept working with him because he was black.

In 1845 Douglas published a book on his life story. In that same year Douglas traveled to England, but returned to the United States in 1847 and founded a weekly newspaper called the North Star.

In 1881 he was appointed by US President James Garfield as registrer of real estate for the District of Columbia; then he became Plenipotentiary Minister in Haiti.

"Eating disorders among women are estimated to be at about 1% of population for anorexia nervosa and 1-2% for bulimia nervosa. E
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

There is possibility men don't have or they are very few

Explanation:

From the meaning of "out number", it means to be more than a particular set of thing or group of things having a valid or fixed number . if the women has 1% of the population of for anorexia nervosa and 2% of the population for anorexia nervosa and still out number the men, it means it is possible that it is few number of men would have the disease.

If the population of the people having anorexia nervosa is 10 for example and women has 1% of the this population , it means it is 1 woman and if the numbers the men, with this population it is possible no valid case of men has the sickness.

To my own opinion ,it is possible men has very few or no case of these disease since the women also has 1% of the population of those that has the sickness.

Colt1911 [192]
Well, my parents' marriage is not particularly special since they both came from same background (asian) ,  only 1 year age difference and same social level.
They also follow a very traditional gender roles where my father went to work from 9-5 and my mother taking care of things home.
What i notice from the dynamic of their relationship is that My mother is very submissive toward my father, She trusted him to make every decisions in the household (again, very traditional).
I never really see any evidence of what we usually refers as 'love' but i can asure you i fully understand what we usually refers as 'committment'

What is supply and demand
Margaret [11]

Answer:

Explanation:

Supply and demand should be thought of together. Suppose you need a hairbrush. You go to your local pharmacy and ask one of the clerks if they stock hairbrushes. They say no they don't. If the pharmacy is supposed to have hairbrushes and they don't, then the supply side does not meet the demand. That's too little supply.

So next you try the nearest grocery store and they say "Yes. For you it's $2.99."

Now you represent the demand, and the store represents supply. They have the hairbrush you want. But the store won't stock hairbrushes if in the last year, you are their first customer who wanted a hairbrush. You still provide the demand, but there is no supplier. So you go without a hairbrush.

The same thing can happen to the supply side. The store has 25 hairbrushes. You only want one. There are too many brushes on the supply side. The store, if they do that with everything, will go broke. Too much supply is just as bad as not enough.
