To have an equation, you need to have two expression, and an equal sign (=) between them.

This is not an equation, but rather an expression. In order to simplify it, you simply have to subtract b from the quantity in the parenthesis:

(2b+1)-b = 2b+1-b = 2b-b+1 = b+1

Leona [35]

Answer:

<A = 35 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

<A = x

<B = 2x

<C = 2x + 5

X + 2x + 2x + 5 = 180 degrees

5x + 5 = 180

5x = 180 -5

x = 175/5

If someone travels 20km in 30mins, what is their speed?
scoundrel [369]
You are given a distance of 20 kilometers and time of 30 minutes. You are required to find for the speed of the travelling object. The equation for speed is distance over time. Speed is a scalar quantity. It tells you the direction of the travelling object. The solution in this problem is,

Speed = distance/time
Speed = 20 kilometers / 30 minutes
Speed = 2/3 kilometers per minute or 0.667 kilometers per minute
Therefore, the speed of the object is 0.667 km per minute.
