Preasure at the bottom would be Air Pressure at the top added to the pressure due to the water height.
so pressure = air pressure + hdg
where,
h = depth of the lake, (432ft into metres)
d = density of water (1000kg/m^3)
g = 9.81 m/s^2 (approx.)

<h3>What is the Hooke's law?</h3>

Hooke's law states that the extension of a given material is directly proportional to the force applied as log as the elastic limit is not exceeded. Thus we have to know that; F = Ke

F = force applied

K = force constant

e = extension

Using the graph;

K = F/e

F = 200N

e = 5 cm or 5 * 10^-2 m

K = 200N/ 5 * 10^-2 m

K = 4000 N/m

Now;

Work = 1/2Ke^2

Work = 0.5 *  4000 N/m * (5 * 10^-2 m)^2

Work = 5 J

What is the density of a piece of wood with a mass of 25 kg<br> and a volume of 0.0385 m³?
Orlov [11]

Answer:

649kg/m^3

Explanation:

Let p be the density of this particular object.

Formula for density:

p =  \frac{mass \: (in \: kg)}{volume \: (in \:  {m}^{3}) }

We can substitute the givenmass and volume to find density of the object.

p =  \frac{25kg}{0.0385 {m}^{3} }  \\  = 649kg \: per \:  {m}^{3}

Therefore the density of this object is 649kg/m^3.
