• Various treaties and convection have been,  made on the preservation of these biological reserves and funding form the Un MDG millennium development goals towards the sustainable development of wetlands.

• Some convection like the Ramsagar convection has been made to tackle the problems. Which gives international importance to the watershed conservation and development of ecological habitat for the development of these flora and fauna. Continuous monitoring and mapping programs are used to help restore the ecology.
