The formula to find Circumference is: C = Pi x D (Pi is 3.14 and D is Diameter). Hence, 3.14 x 45 = 141.3 cm.  The answer is 141.3 cm.
The circumference of a circle is Π*d.

What is the value of u and v?
Novay_Z [31]

Answer and Explanation:

Since this is an isosceles right triangle, you can use the ratio of side lengths specific to this type of triangle where both legs are the hypotenuse over root 2:

u = v = 164√2 / √2 = 164

so:

u = 164

v = 164

- Let y represent the width of a rectangle and let x represent the rectangle's lengu.
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

Length: 21 cm and Width:  6cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let y be the width and x length of the rectangle. We know:

x = 4y -3 -------- eq. 1

54 = 2x + 2y    (Perimeter of the rectangle) ------- eq.  2

Substitute equation 1 in equation 2:

54 = 2(4y-3) + 2y\\54 = 8y - 6 + 2y\\54 + 6 = 8y + 2y\\60 = 10 y\\\\\frac{60}{10}= y\\y = 6

Using the value of y, we find x.

x = 4y - 3\\x = 4(6) -3\\x= 24 - 3\\x = 21

Which statement is true about the discontinuities of the function f(x)?
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

  (a)  There are asymptotes at x=3/2 and x=-1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

The denominator zeros can be found by factoring:

  f(x) = (x +1)/((2x -3)(3x +1))

Neither of the denominator factors is cancelled by the numerator factor, so each represents a vertical asyptote, not a function hole.

The asymptotes are at the values of x where the denominator is zero:

  2x -3 = 0   ⇒   x = 3/2

  3x +1 = 0   ⇒   x = -1/3
