The European nations that created artificial boundaries for the countries of Africa created problems because they did not take: D. The different ethnic groups in each country into consideration.

Many African ethnicity do not recognize individual possession and only reconize group belongings. So when the European nations created the artificial boundaries to claim their lands, many Afircan Groups felt insulted and revolted against the European nations.
