Solution:

we have been asked to find the average of the first n positive even numbers.

Let the firm n positive even numbers be

2,4,6,8,10,12,.........2(n-1), 2n

As we know that average of numbers=\frac{\text{Sum of Numbers }}{Total number of Numbers}\\

Required Average=\frac{2+4+6+2(n-1)+2n}{n}\\

Required Average=\frac{2(1+2+3+....+(n-1)+n)}{n}

As we know the sum of first n terms=\frac{n(n+1)}{2}

Required Average=\frac{2n(n+1)}{2n}=n+1  \\

Given that the

Length of one diagonal will be:

p = 3+3 = 6 units

The length of other diagonal will be

q = 4+4 = 8 units

Area of a rhombus= (p × q)/2

= (6×8)/2

= 48/2

= 24 square units

Why do we need to integrate probabilities in statistics?
geniusboy [140]
For the answer to the question above asking w<span>hy do we need to integrate probabilities in statistics?
Well, i</span>ntegration is used very very often in theoretical statistics. Transformation relates to the result that data values that are modelled as being random variables from any given continuous distribution can be converted to random variables having a standard uniform distribution. So, we need to see other possibilities by combining<span> (one thing) with another.</span>

For a dinner party Abraham is creating Individual Serving of starters. He has nine carrot sticks and 18 Celery sticks if he want
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:  9\ servings

Step-by-step explanation:

You know that Abraham has 9 carrot sticks and 18 Celery sticks.

In order to calculate the greatest number of servings Abraham can create, you need to find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF).

The procedure to find the Greatest common factor is:

 1. Descompose 9 and 18 into their prime factors.

 2. Multiply the commons factors with their lowest exponents.

Then, in this case you get:

9=3*3=3^2\\\\18=2*3*3=2*3^2

GCF=3^2=9

Therefore, the greatest number of servings Abraham can create is:

9\ servings

F(x)=-3x+21,find x when f(x)=6
balu736 [363]

Answer:

x=5

Step-by-step explanation:

F(x)=-3x+21,

f(x)=6 = -3x+21

6 = -3x+21

Subtract 21 from each side

6-21 = -3x+21-21

-15 = -3x

Divide each side by -3

-15/-3 = -3x/-3

5 = x
