From the polymers listed, the ones which are found in natural sources are: protein, cotton and silk.
A polymer is a large molecule composed of many repeated subunits. Many small molecules (monomers) are bound by chemical reactions, called polymerization, and form the polymers. Polymers are widely used in many applications and they can either be synthetic or naturally occurring biopolymers. In the provided list, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and nylon are synthetic polymers. Polypropylene and nylon are thermoplastic polymers, and polyvinyl chloride (vinyl) is a plastic polymer. On the other hand, proteins are naturally occurring polymers produced by many amino acids. Cotton is formed by repeating units of cellobiose and it is a naturally occurring cellulose polymer. Finally, silk is a polypeptide and a linear fibroin polymer.

1. In which way does the circulatory system rely on the skeletal system? (1 point)
german

Answer:

The correct option is Blood cells are produced in bone marrow.

Explanation:

Skeletal system can be described as the system which comprises of all the bones and joints of an organism. The main function of the skeleton system is to provide support and protection to the organism.

The circulatory system can be described as a system which comprises of the heart, blood vessels and blood. This system is mainly involved in the transportation of substances like oxygen, nutrients etc in the body.

The skeletal system interacts with many other systems of the body and helps them perform their functions. For example, the skeletal system interacts with the muscular system so that a muscle can contract and relax.

The skeletal system interacts with the circulatory system by producing blood cells in the bone marrow. Red blood cells, as well as white blood cells, are produced by this process.

Hakeem is testing the effects of sunlight on samples of soil. Which of these actions would introduce confounding variables into
satela [25.4K]

A confounding variable refers to an external effect, which modifies the influence of an independent and dependent variable. This extraneous effect is used to affect the outcome of an experimental design. The confounding variables can ruin the experiment and can generate unnecessary outcomes.

In the given case, confounding variables can be introduced by testing multiple hypotheses at a time and by using distinct kinds of soil in each of the samples.
