India's neighboring countries are Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, China, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. India had some conflicts between some of these countries, however, it never lost its independence and freedom. The reason is that the western and northern mountain ranges protect India from any kind of invasion and menace.
