What happens if a population is in hardy-weinberg equilibrium apex?
Murrr4er [49]
I think a relative frequency of alleles or genetic variation will remain unchanged for generations. For example if there is a 1 percent genetic variability in an organism of first generation, then the genetic variability in an organism of second generation will also be approximately 1 percent. There will not be a rapid increase in genetic variations. Mutation will not occur or if occur then it will be at the rate of equilibrium.

_____________ is the process that occurs when two groups of organisms become incapable of successfully interbreeding even when t
zvonat [6]

Answer:

Sympatric speciation

Explanation:

Reproductive isolation is the phenomena where two groups of organisms are not able to interbreed because of many mechanical, spatial or temporal barriers. It ultimately leads to formation of two different species. It can occur by allopatric speciation or sympatric speciation.

In allopatric speciation, the groups are not able to interbreed because they are geographically isolated. However sympatric speciation occurs in the same geography. The two groups inhabit the same area but are still not able to interbreed because gene flow is prevented between them. For example, in plants polyploidy can occur due to random mutation. Such a plant will not be able to mate with other plants of same species in the same area because of different chromosome number. Hence, it becomes reproductively isolated from rest of the plants in the area.

How is Earth dependent on the sun for energy?
wolverine [178]

Answer:

Nothing is more important to us on Earth than the Sun. Without the Sun's heat and light, the Earth would be a lifeless ball of ice-coated rock. The Sun warms our seas, stirs our atmosphere, generates our weather patterns, and gives energy to the growing green plants that provide the food and oxygen for life on Earth.
