There were several different presidents who had to deal with the Vietnam War. Here were their actions:

Kennedy (1960-1963)- attempted to aid South Vietnamese troops by sending a few thousand soldiers. Their goal was not combative, rather it was to support Southern Vietnamese troops with technology and strategy. Ultimately, Kennedy was trying to stop the spread of the communist regime of North Vietnam.

Lyndon B. Johnson (1963-1969) - Due to North Vietnam's progress, Johnson steadily increased the amount of troops to South Vietnam. At one point, roughly 500,000 US soldiers were in Vietnam. Under Johnson, they took on more of a combative role. Johnson's promise of victory being right around the corner never came true and only got American citizens hopes up.

Archy [21]
The answer is C) his lack of religious toleration caused widespread dissatisfaction with the majority of the population

Unlike his predecessors who were sensitive in ruling a largely Hindu population, Aurangzeb was seen as a more 'religious' leader who wanted to impose some of his own beliefs on his subjects.

However, in reality many historians actually dispute this. While he did destroy some Hindu temples, the number is often exaggerated and it should be noted that he also destroyed mosques.
