Answers with there Explanation:

Part A Both a movie and restaurant

The people who went to movie are 263

But the people who don't went to restaurant of 263 are 90.

So the answer is 173 (263 - 90).

Part B A movie or a restaurant

The people who were surveyed are 816 and out of this who didn't went to either restaurant or a movie were 387.

So the person who either went to restaurant or movie are 429 (816 - 387).

Part C A restaurant

The person who were either to movie or restaurant are 429 (Option B). So out of 429, if the total number of person who had not been to restaurant is 90 then the people who went to restaurant is 339 (429 - 90).

Part D Restaurant but not a movie

The person who were on a movie or restaurant were 429 and out of this the person who were on movie were 263 so the people who were only to restaurant are 166 (429 - 263).

erastova [34]

Answer:

Rita's basis in her partnership interest is $35000

Explanation:

given data

cash = $10,000

fair market value = $150,000

adjusted basis = $55,000

liability = $60,000

to find out

Rita's basis in her partnership interest

solution

we know both Rita and Gerry half of total liability

we get here 50% share on debt that is

50% share on debt = 50% × liability

50% share on debt = 0.50 × $60,000

50% share on debt = $30000

so basis on interest is here as

basis on interest = cash + adjusted basis - 50% share on debt

basis on interest = $10000 +  $55000 - $30000

basis on interest = $35000

Answer:

$3,100

Explanation:

Step 1: Draw up the Accounts Receivable Account

Opening Balance  $600          Allowance for Doubtful debt   $200

Sales                       $3,200       Cash Collected                        $3,100

                                                   Closing Balance                       <u>$500</u>

                                <u>$3,800</u>                                                         <u>$3,800  </u>

To calculate the cash collected from customers

first, add the debit side of the accounts receivable which is a sum of the opening balance and sales= 3,800

Secondly, add the figures in the credit side including allowance for doubtful debt and closing balance= $700

Thirdly, Subtract the lesser side from the greater, $3,800 - $700 = $3,100

$3,100 was cash collected from the customers in 2016
