Answer:
The question we can form using the information in the sentence and the word in parentheses is:
Whose grandfather had a small farm in the county?
Explanation:
<u>"Whose" is a pronoun used to indicate possession, be it in a declarative sentence or in an interrogative one. If I wish to know, for instance, who the owner of a car parked in front of my house is, I can ask: Whose car is this?</u>
<u>Since we are supposed to use "whose" to ask a question as well as the information in the given sentence, we need to find a possession relationship to ask about.</u> Of course, the farm has an owner - the grandfather. But the way the sentence is structure does not allow us to ask about him while using "whose". However, the grandfather "belongs", so to speak, to Roger, and the structure allows us to use "whose" to ask about him. Therefore, the question we can form is:
Whose grandfather had a small farm in the county?
While i was outside at my house working on my schoolwork on the laptop my school sent me, some random kids about my age from the nearby public school were on their way home and stopped infront of my house. "Girls are so stupid! How did you even manage to know how to use a laptop?" or something along the lines of that. I quickly picked up a small gardening shovel on the table next to me seeing as my mom was gardening the other day and stood up walking over to them as a warning. After they went back to running home i quickly shoved off the incident and pretend it never happened.

It's effective to us because this happens many times in real life, for me as a Californian resident, I've experienced many times where people would curse at me or belittle me in Spanish, and I have a greater understanding of the language because of that. Since this is legitimate, that technically means it captivated the reader utilizing Ethos.
