The two expression to represent area  is (5 x  - 10)  sq. units   or  5( x- 2) sq. units

Here, the length of the rectangle  = (x-2) units

The width of the rectangle  = 5 units

Now, AREA OF A RECTANGLE  = LENGTH x WIDTH

So, here AREA  =  5 ( x- 2)
