When constructing the DNA molecule what did you notice about the orientation of the two strands? One of the strands is inverted

Further explanation

A hydrogen bond is a primarily electrostatic force of attraction between a hydrogen atom that is covalently bound a more electronegative atom or group, the second-row elements nitrogen.

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the molecule composed of two chains that coil around each other to form the double helix that carrying genetic instructions for the development, functioning, growth, reproduction of all known organisms and many viruses. The DNA molecule is composed of two strands with the help of hydrogen bonds which is double helix.

The two strands of DNA are oriented antiparallel to each other that they lie parallel to each other but are decoded in opposite direction. DNA is double-stranded, but only one strand serves as a template for transcription. When a region becomes single stranded, the two strands have an opposite orientation.

Hope it helps! :)

lilavasa [31]

Answer:

Both statements are true

Explanation:

Many small tree saplings are competing for sunlight on the forest floor because tree saplings in forest floors are often deprived of adequate light as a result of the shade created by bigger trees in the forest. Hence, the saplings jostle for light in order to effectively carry out light-requiring physiological activities such as photosynthesis and chlorophyll synthesis.
