Answer:Hence shown

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

F\left ( x\right )=\frac{1}{x}

We have to show the function is uniformly continuous in interval [2,∞)

A function is said to be continuous in given interval if it is differentiable in that interval

so derivative of \frac{1}{x} is

\frac{\mathrm{d} \frac{1}{x}}{\mathrm{d} x}

{F}'(x)=-\frac{1}{x^2}

{F}'(x) is\ valid\ for\ al\l values\ of\ x\ except\ x=0

therefore \frac{1}{x} is continuous in [2,∞) and not uniformly continuous in (0,∞] because {F}'(x)=-\frac{1}{x^2} is inderminate at x=0 as \frac{1}{0} is not defined.

OlgaM077 [116]
1/4 the probability of the 1st coin is 1/2 for landing on tails and for the second coin, the probability is 1/2 for it not to land on tails so u do 1/2* 1/2 and u get 1/4

"In the 45°-45°-90° triangle above, r = 10. Find the other two lengths.
Basile [38]

We are given a right triangle that has angles of 45°-45°-90°. This would indicate that the triangle is an isosceles type. We can use some trigonemetric functions to solve for the other legs. We do as follows:

sin 45 = p / 10

p = 5√2

cos 45 = q /10

q = 5√2

Matthew sorts some figures. He includes a regular hexagon with only figures 2 and 3.
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

B.

Step-by-step explanation:

A regular hexagon, a rectangle, and a regular parallelogram all have at least 2 pairs of parallel sides. The sides opposite of each other are parallel. A trapezoidal only has one pair of parallel lines and a kite has 0 parallel sides.
