The six purposes of the government are as follows: 1- to form a more perfect union. 2- establish justice: by fair and reasonable laws and punishments 3- insure domestic tranquility: this means protecting Americans from other Americans 4- provide a common defense: to protect Americans from any outside forces 5- promote a general welfare for the benefit of citizens 6- secure the blessing of the liberty: this means that citizens have the legal right to life, liberty and pursuing happiness.
The battle in which the Native Americans attempted to resist the armed forces for the last time took place on 29th December 1890 in South Dakota near the Wounded Knee Creed.
It was the Masacre of Wounded Knee, also refered as the Battle of the Wounded Knee.
