Use the chart to answer the question. Which battle is considered a turning point in the war? Date Battle Result April 19, 1775 L
Y_Kistochka [10]
The correct answer is the Battle of Saratoga.

The Battle of Saratoga, which took place in October of 1777, was considered a turning point for multiple reasons. For one, it was one of the first times that the American colonists were able to get the British military to surrender. Another reason why it is a turning point is this battle showed France that the American colonists actually had a shot at defeating the British. After this battle, the French send support to the American colonists. This support from the French is critical to the success of the American colonists in the Revolutionary War.

Why aren't there large cities in southern part of the arabian peninsula
My name is Ann [436]

There aren't any large cities in the Southern Part of the Arabian Peninsula due to the Arabian Desert.

Arabian Peninsula is the largest Peninsula in the world and is made up of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, UAE. It also includes some parts of Iraq and Jordan.

However, in mordern times, Saudia Arabia covers more than 60% of the land area.

The area has always been sparsley populated, especially in the south as you go deeper into the Arabian desert.

It is a harsh climate and a difficut terrain, where it is not easy to grow food. Hence, the area is mostly made up of small villages and towns.
