Processing of the mRNA begins before transcription of eukaryotic mRNA is complete.the end of the mRNA is prepared for recognitio

n by the ribosomes of the cell and protected from exonuclease degardation by a process called " capping".during this multi-step process a nuleoside is added to the end of the mRNA and then modified.complete the following statements about the capping process.
1- capping occurs at the _____ end of mRNA.

2- the nucleside added is ________.

3- the nuceloside is connected to the mRNA through a _____ linkage.

4- the added nuceloside is modified by methylation at_____ atom.

5- the mRNA is modified by methylation of ribose residues at the ______-hydroxy position.

Where does antibiotic resistance come from?
inessss [21]

Answer:

Antibiotic resistance happens when germs like bacteria and fungi develop the ability to defeat the drugs designed to kill them. That means the germs are not killed and continue to grow. Infections caused by antibiotic-resistant germs are difficult, and sometimes impossible, to treat.

Which of the fallowing describes the difference between nitrogen-14 and nitrogen-15
Tasya [4]
Nitrogen-14 has a mass number of 14 which means that it has a total of 14 protons and neutrons. When you subtract the atomic number of nitrogen from the mass number of 14 you get the number of neutrons (14-7), which gives you 7 neutrons. Now for nitrogen-15, you have a different mass number which means there is a different amount of neutrons (15-7), 8 neutrons. So the difference is the mass numbers and the number of neutrons (the number of protons remains the same however). When there are two versions of the same element, and they have the same number of protons, but different number of neutrons and different mass numbers, they are called isotopes. Hope this helped :)
