After colonialism, the racism and segregation left an open wound in Africa, and as they were never actually organized to have a Government, they are struggling to have democracies and to help the people. The Governments are sold to the best buyer, and corruption is found in every step of the political chain. This adds up to the whole continents poverty and dispair.
