Area of pyramid = 14 square meter

Explanation:

Area of one right angled triangle =\frac{1}{2} (base) (height)

Put base =2 m, height =2.5 m

Area of one right angled triangle =\frac{1}{2} (2)(2.5) = 2.5 square meter

Area of 4 right angled triangles =4(2.5)=10 square meter

Area of square = side × side = 2 × 2 = 4 square meter

So,

Area of pyramid = 10 + 4 = 14 square meter
