Based on this, we can conclude that the generalization that the speaker makes in the last stanza of the poem "a louse" by Robert Burns .

In the poem the narrator observes a louse in the cap of a woman, this makes the narrator to be disgusted with what he is seeing. Then he starts to reflect and see that no one is free from having a louse, because for a louse all people are the same. Then the narrator begins to think how the world would be if all people were seen as equals and so he concludes that seeing ourselves as others see us would free us from disorder
