Once the Constitution of the United States was written in 1787 at the Philadelphia convention, the next step was ratification. This is the formal process, outlined in Article VII, which required that nine of the thirteen states had to agree to adopt the Constitution before it could go into effect

As in any debate there were two sides, the Federalists who supported ratification and the Anti-Federalists who did not.

We now know that the Federalists prevailed, and the U.S. Constitution was ratified in 1788, and went into effect in 1789.

Andru [333]

Astronomy is the science that study stars, planets, galaxies and other thing that exist in the known universe. As a science it follows the same principles as other fields like chemistry or physics. Astrology is the theory that links certain behaviours or even prediction of the future based on the movements and the influences of the stars on our lifes. So, the difference is that one is a science field, the other is a theory.

An organization which represents a specific political agenda and socioeconomic positions within a given nation.
bulgar [2K]

The correct answer is D. political party

Political parties are entities created with the goal of channeling the political participation of citizens within a democracy and contribute to the representation system. The people that are part of a political party share objectives, interests, an ideology, a political vision of reality, values, principles, and projects. Their maximum goal is to catch electoral support in order to run for elections and, in case of winning, to hold government power to apply the objectives and projects of their political agenda. In a representative system of republican democracy, there are many political parties, each of one representing different ideologies and political visions, that tend to compete with each other for the electoral support.
