To find the answer:
4(x - 0.8) = 3.8x - 5.8 \\ 4x - 3.2 = 3.8x - 5.8 \\ 4x - 3.8x = - 5.8 + 3.2 \\ 0.2x = - 2.6 \\ x = - \frac{ 2.6}{0.2} \\ x = - 13

Therefore, x=-13.

Hope it helps!

Answer:  The required solution is x = -13.

Step-by-step explanation: We are given to solve the following linear equation in variable x :

4(x-0.8)=3.8x-5.8~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(i)

Solving equation (i) means finding the value of the unknown variable x.

The solution of equation (i) is as follows :

4(x-0.8)=3.8x-5.8\\\\\Rightarrow 4x-3.2=3.8x-5.8\\\\\Rightarrow 4x-3.8x=3.2-5.8\\\\\Rightarrow 0.2x=-2.6\\\\\Rightarrow x=-\dfrac{2.6}{0.2}\\\\\Rightarrow x=-13.

Thus, the required solution is x = -13.

What scale factor is shown by this graph?
notsponge [240]

the scale factor is 2.

because

if you look at the length <em>AL</em><em> </em>in the smaller shape, it is 2 squares.

now if you look at the length <em>AL</em><em> </em>in the enlarged shape, it is 4 squares.

to find the scale factor, do 4 ÷ 2 which is 2.

therefore the scale factor is 2

Which value is included in the solution set for the inequality graphed one the number line?
Soloha48 [4]

<em>We can also graph inequalities on the number line. The following graph represents the inequality x≤2 . The dark line represents all the numbers that satisfy x≤2 . If we pick any number on the dark line and plug it in for x, the inequality will be true.</em>

HELP 10 POINTS and brainliest! What is the value of X?<br> △MAH∼△WCF .
german
The value of x is 23.

Simply find the scale factor or what was used to dilate △MAH to produce △WCF.

Use the equation copy over the original,

k = \frac{c}{o} = \frac{15.5}{62}

Reduce,

\frac{15.5}{62} = \frac{1}{4} = 0.25

So our scale factor is ¼ or 0.25

So if we use it and multiply the corresponding side of the missing side with the original we get,

92 \times \frac{1}{4} = 23

Therefore 23 is our missing side! !

I hope that helps you out!!
