In order to find the slope of these points.. plug them in this formula y2-y1/x2-x1. so when we do we will get -8+4/-4+2. add and subtract and you will get -4/-2.. divide and you will get 2.. just so you know it had the same value because even if you choose a different number from the same line the slope will always stay the same

Hope this helps

A proper fraction is converted to a decimal equivalent by dividing the denominator into the numerator. True
kondaur [170]

False, it's the other way around: you divide the numerator by the denominator.

For example, to evaluate \frac{8}{15} you divide 8 by 15:

\dfrac{8}{15} = 8\div 15 = 0.5\overline{3}

Answer:

He has 10 nickels and 5 dimes

Step-by-step explanation:

We can take advantage of the ratio by dividing 40 by 8, giving us that every 1 in the ratio = 5. So we can multiply 2 x 5 = 10 and 1 x 5 = 5.

Find the first three terms of the sequence with nth term 2n+4
LiRa [457]

Answer:

To find out the first three terms of 2n + 4 substitute 1 ,2 and 3 into the equation.

2(1)+4=2+4=6

2(2)+4=4+4=8

2(3)+4=6+4=10

As you can see the sequence goes up in 3s 6 ,8, 10 To find out the 9th term you also substitute 9 into the equation so

2(9)+4=18+4=22

Hope this helped!
