I can provide you metaphors to use in the poem.

Love is an open door.
Love is cloud nine.
Love is a never ending chocolate fountain.
Love is a free bird.
Love is cotton candy; sweet, fluffy, and enjoyable.
Love is a journey.

Keep in mind that a metaphor compares two things without using like or as.

Hope this helps!

Why are you upset ?what (do you Think about?)
crimeas [40]

Answer:

I personally am upset because, as a human, I'm never entirely satisfied with what I have, or at least not for a long period of time. I will always yearn for the things I don't have or can't experience. But looking at what I do have and how much worse things used to be, or can be, helps take everything into perspective.

Explanation:

This response is based off of my personal experience in life

The author's attitude toward the topic, characters, and audience of a text is known as _[blank]_. Which option correctly complet
Bad White [126]

The author's attitude is the tone. This sets up mood, which is the reader's feelings toward the text. I often teach these together because they can be so confusing. Syntax is just the arrangement of words, which is often seen in poetry as this is where it is most effective. Diction is simply the choice of words, which is part of tone but not the full definition of tone. C is the correct answer.

Complete the following sentences by adding another sentence to make each
KIM [24]

Answer:

1. We arrived at the concert early, and we were able to procure the best seats for ourselves.

2. He was a bit late in the start but he won the relay race.

3. You cannot eat hot dogs, nor can you eat anything in this area.

4. We tossed water balloons back and forth, and we also splashed water on each other.

5. We had done our chores in the morning and in the evening we want to go to the movies.

6. The children were hungry, but Mother did not allow them to have snacks before dinner.

Explanation:

Compound sentences are those sentences that contain two independent clauses to make a meaningful complete sentence. Even if the sentence are broken into two, both the sentences can stand on its own.

Independent clauses are those clauses that need no addition to be deemed a complete sentence. They are capable of standing on their own.

So, with the addition of new sentences, the whole new compound sentence are as follows-
