Japan has some natural barriers against invasions. Firstly, it is an island, rendering a land invasion impossible and making retreat harder. Due to geographic conditions, Japan's lands have strategic points of advantage for Japanese soldiers. The country is mountainous and full of hills, mostly product of volcanic eruptions, presenting difficulty for invasions, especially once locals now how the best routes and positions. Due to these conditions, Japan has some regions more viable for invasion, leading the country to gather their best defenses at these spots.

What happened to the Lusitania and how did that affect popular opinion in the United States
weqwewe [10]

the Lusitania was almost like the titanic 2.0. A ship full of innocent Americans was sunk. It really affected the Americans because they wanted to stay neutral in WW1, but this turn of events landed them right int he middle of a human-made disaster.

If A = {4,5,6} and B = {x : 0 < x <5} , then
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

See Explanation

Explanation:

Given

A = \{4,5,6\}

B = \{x:0

The question is incomplete, because what is required is not stated.

However, possible questions are to list the elements of:

(a)\ A \ n\ B\\

(b)\ A \ u\ B

First, we populate B

B = \{x:0

This means that the elements of B are less than 5 but greater than 0.

So we have:

B = \{1,2,3,4\}

This gives:

A = \{4,5,6\}

B = \{1,2,3,4\}

A n B means that, we list the common elements of A and B.

So:

A\ n\ B = \{4\}

A u B means that, we list the all elements of A and B, without repetition.

So:

A\ u\ B = \{1,2,3,4,5,6\}
