Answer:

"the toaster"

Explanation:

Thomas Alva Edison, was an entrepreneur and a prolific inventor, considered the most important inventor in the US He developed many devices that have had great influence around the world, such as the phonograph, the film camera or a durable incandescent light bulb. Nicknamed "The Wizard of Menlo Park", Edison was one of the first inventors to apply the principles of chain production and large-scale teamwork to the invention process, which is why he is credited with creating the first laboratory of industrial research.

Edison was a prolific inventor who registered 1,093 patents to his name in the United States, as well as others in the United Kingdom, France and Germany. But more important than his many patents was the broad impact of some of his inventions: electric light and public electricity supply, sound recording and cinematography became powerful new industries all over the world. His inventions contributed in particular to telecommunications, such as a voting machine, a battery for an electric car, electric power, recording music and movies. His advanced work in these fields was no more than a continuation of his first job as a radiotelegraphist. Edison developed a system of generation and distribution of electrical energy to homes, businesses and factories, a crucial advance for the modern industrialized world.

What is a benefit of a confederate government?
olga nikolaevna [1]
A benefit of a confederate government is C. Several states can cooperate in matters of common concern and still retain their separate identities.

A confederate government derives its power from the state or provincial government resulting to a weak central authority. States under the confederation retain all the powers of an independent nation; powers such as the right to have its own military force, the right to print money, and the right to make treaties with other national powers without needing the approval of other states under the confederation.

Confederate states exerting their own powers weakened the central government which led to the founding fathers to shift into Federalism when they drafted the Constitution.

How did the United States gain territory of Florida
-Dominant- [34]

C

"Florida had become a burden to Spain, which could not afford to send settlers or garrisons. Madrid therefore decided to cede the territory to the United States through the Adams–Onís Treaty, which took effect in 1821.[51] President James Monroe was authorized on March 3, 1821 to take possession of East Florida and West Florida for the United States and provide for initial governance.[52] Andrew Jackson, on behalf of the U.S. federal government, served as a military commissioner with the powers of governor of the newly acquired territory for a brief period.[53] On March 30, 1822, the U.S. Congress merged East Florida and part of West Florida into the Florida Territory.[54] "

Why and how did the Ottoman Empire break up after World War One?
VMariaS [17]

All the opulence and strength of the Ottoman Empire began to be put to the test of the so-called Russian-Turkish Wars in the nineteenth century, especially in the First World War (1914-1918). The decline and end of the Ottoman Empire must be understood from the context of the First War.

Between 1922 and 1923, the Conference was held in Lausanne, Switzerland. The discussions of this conference resulted in the separation between the sultanate and the caliphate, that is, between political authority and religious authority (caliph), and the immediate choice to end the former. This culminated in the escape of the last sultan, Mehmed VI. That would be the path to the creation of the Republic of Turkey, whose first president was Mustafa Kemal.
