<span>Lonely and lost. Most people are friendly and by trying some kind of sign language you will manage. If you are in another country and don´t know the language, buy a dictionary, that will get you far. The longer you stay in the country, you will soon find out that you can communicate with people. I´ve experienced that and I learned a lot. It was a nice experience!

You'd probably feel lost. And also quite confused. You wouldn't know how to communicate with people, you'd have to resort to using body language.
