Select the correct answer. Read this excerpt from Alice in Wonderland by Alice Gerstenberg. Which statement is true about Grypho

n and Mock Turtle? MOCK TURTLE: When we were little, we went to school in the sea. The master was an old Turtle—we used to call him tortoise— ALICE: Why did you call him Tortoise, if he wasn’t one? MOCK TURTLE: We called him Tortoise because he taught us; really you are very dull. GRYPHON: You ought to be ashamed of yourself for asking such a simple question. Drive on, old fellow! Don’t be all day about it! MOCK TURTLE: Yes, we went to school in the sea, tho’ you mayn’t believe it— ALICE: I never said I didn’t. MOCK TURTLE: You did. GRYPHON: Hold your tongue! MOCK TURTLE: We had the best of educations—in fact, we went to school every day. A. Mock Turtle is insensitive, while Gryphon is kind. B. Both are witty and funny. C. Both are rude and self-involved. Both are rude and self-involved.

Answer: Option C.

Explanation:

In the story, "Alice in Wonderland" the character Mock turtle is shown telling Alice about the time that they had spent during their school years. During that time they were accompanied by Gryphon.

The only thing they talk about is the time they had all spent in the school and the life they had enjoyed in the past and if some one did not like the stories, they used to get angry.

Two suggestion to reduce acid rain
barxatty [35]

here are ur two suggestions

1.)One of the main causes of acid rain is a sudden drop in the pH levels of water and that happens because of absorption of harmful gases by the atmosphere. The best way to restore the pH balance of water is to limit the use of items which run on gasoline. Instead use products which run on electricity; as they are much easier to run and maintain.

2.)Another great thing that all people can do is to learn how to drive cars efficiently. While driving on roads there are a lot of things that can be done to reduce smoke emission from cars. Drivers should ease up as soon as the yellow light rather than slamming on the brakes and they shouldn't rush away as soon as the lights turn green. These small practices help reduce the wastage of gasoline and helps people save a lot of money on fuel.

i hope this helps!!! have a great day!!!
