Please Help!!<br> f(x) = square root of x plus 7 ; g(x) = 8x -11 <br> Find f(g(x))
Sonja [21]

I'm not sure if you mean ( \sqrt{x + 7} ) or ( \sqrt{x} + 7 ) I solved it both ways .

f(x) =  \sqrt{x + 7}  \\  \\ f( \: g(x) \: ) =  \sqrt{(8x - 11)+ 7}  \\  =  \sqrt{8x - 11 + 7}  \\   =  \sqrt{8x - 4}  \\  = 2 \sqrt{2x - 1}

____o_____o______

f(x) = \sqrt{x} + 7 \\ \\ f( \: g(x) \: ) = \sqrt{(8x - 11)} + 7 \\ = \sqrt{8x - 11} + 7\\

I hope I helped you^_^

State, and briefly explain, whether the width of a confidence interval for one population proportion would decrease, increase, o
Semenov [28]

Answer:

<h3>The option b) is correct</h3><h3>The width of a confidence interval for one population proportion would decrease, increase, or remain the same as a result is <u>Increase the value of the sample mean (0.5 point) </u></h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the width of a confidence interval for one population proportion would decrease, increase, or remains the same.

<h3>To find the result for the given data :</h3>

By definition we have that "the width for the confidence interval decreases as the sample size increases". The width of the confidence interval increases as same as the standard deviation also increases. The width increases as the confidence level increases between (0.5 towards 0.99999 - stronger).

The width of a confidence interval is affected by 3 measures. they are the value of the multiplier t* , the standard deviation s of the original data, and the sample size of n .

<h3>Therefore the width of a confidence interval for one population proportion would decrease, increase, or remain the same as a result is <u>Increase the value of the sample mean (0.5 point) </u></h3><h3>Therefore the option b) is correct</h3>

Look at the point P on the number line.Which number lines have a point that is equal to pointP? Check all that apply.р
Viktor [21]

In the given Number line the differece between each interval is 10

and the Point P is at -40

Since,

In the graph

A)

the first is -60, then it will be -50 So,

The point P is at -50

Thus the the number line have the same point

B) In the given number line the first point is -60

then -50, -40 and then -30

So, the point is at -30

This number line is not equal to the given number line

C) In the given number line the first point is at -60

and there are three interval so, the the three interval have the values 20

So, the second point will be -40

and the third will be -20

So, the point is at -40

The number line is equal to given number line

D) In the given number line, the interval are divided by 4 parts so

the each interval of the 15 units

the first is at -60

second is at -45

and the point is at -45

So, The number line is not equal to the given number line
