The correct answer is: B). Animals have diversified into the vast number of niches provided by tree diversity.

Explanation:

 • The tropical rainforests are rich in diverse types of tree species.
 • This is because the climatic or environmental conditions that prevail in the rain forest region is optimally ambient for the growth of a wide variety of tree and plant species.
 • The tropical region provides sufficient amount of sunlight, heat or temperature and optimum rainfall which promotes the growth of multiple species of plants and trees.
 • These varieties of trees and plants provides shelter, food and habitat to a large number of animal species, with each of them occupying a different ecological niche.
 • An ecological niche can be defined as the association and interaction which a species has with its environment, both biotic and abiotic, to carry out its growth, development, metabolism and reproduction.

What is the role of RNA in protein production
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) associates with a set of proteins to form ribosomes. These complex structures, which physically move along an mRNA molecule, catalyze the assembly of amino acids into protein chains. They also bind tRNAs and various accessory molecules necessary for protein synthesis.

What are the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells? Focus on cells from microscopy lab?
pishuonlain [190]

Eukaryotic cells contain membrane-bound organelles, including a nucleus. Eukaryotes can be single-celled or multi-celled, such as you, me, plants, fungi, and insects. Bacteria are an example of prokaryotes. Prokaryotic cells do not contain a nucleus or any other membrane-bound organelle.

There are several key differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells are found in multicellular plants and animals, whereas prokaryotic cells are found in bacteria and archaea which are ususlly unicellular. I have summarised the key differences below:

Prokayotic cells do not have membrane-bound organelles, such as the endoplasmic reticulum or mitochondria.

Prokaryotic cells do not have a nucleus, instead they have circular DNA that is free in the cytoplasm.

Prokaryotic cells have smaller ribosomes than eukaryotic cells.

Prokaryotic cells have a cell wall. Their cell wall is made from a different material to a plant cell, a glycoprotein called murein.

Prokaryotic cells may also have a protective layer called a capsule, flagellum to aid in movement and one or more plasmids.
