While Louis Pasteur was the one that procured the germ theory of disease that explains that diseases are caused by microorganisms, the first researcher that provided direct experimental data to support the said theory is Robert Koch.

Robert Koch developed a criteria for the causality of disease from microorganisms called the Koch's postulates. The Koch's postulates indicate that:

(1) The bacteria must be present in every case of the disease
(2) <span>The bacteria must be extracted and isolated from the host with the disease and should be directly visualized and/or grown in culture
(3) There must be a healthy experimental host that will reproduce the disease once the isolated bacteria is injected
(4) The bacteria should be recoverable from the previously healthy host

Compare the practices of shelterwood cutting, clearcutting, and seed-tree cutting.
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

Clearcutting removes all the trees within a certain area at one time. Shelterwood cutting also removes all the trees in an area, but does it in stages over several years. Seed-tree cutting removes all the trees except for a select number of mature trees that can then reseed the area. Seed-tree cutting and shelterwood cutting allow for the harvested areas to recover over time without direct intervention

Create a publication that will explain the evolution of taxonomy and the six kingdoms
lakkis [162]

Answer:

Traditionally, some textbooks from the United States and Canada used a system of six kingdoms (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista, Archaea/Archaebacteria, and Bacteria/Eubacteria) while textbooks in countries like Great Britain, India, Greece, Brazil and other countries use five kingdoms only (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista and Monera).

Some recent classifications based on modern cladistics have explicitly abandoned the term "kingdom", noting that the traditional kingdoms are not monophyletic, i.e., do not consist of all the descendants of a common ancestor.
