Assuming that you're talking about two homozygous seeds (RR and rr), 75% of the seeds would be round, and the other 25% would be wrinkled.

Review the schematic diagram of photosynthesis and the involvement of the chloroplast in this process. We know that the purpose
Irina-Kira [14]

C

Photosynthesis is divided into light-phase and the dark-phase. The former occurs in the presence of sunlight while the latter is independent of sunlight.

Explanation:

The light-dependent phase begins the process of photosynthesis. The energy of the sun is used to split a water molecule into H+ and O- in a process called photolysis. IN the process, two high energy electrons are released and used to replace the ones that left the reaction system of the chlorophyll pigments. The electrons being replaced were conveyed through  a protein chain and their energy used to pump H+ ions into the thylakoid from the stroma. The electrons are ultimately used to reduce NADP+ into NADPH. This creates a proton motive force used by ATP synthase to create ATPs – a process called photophosphorylation.

IN the light-independent phase, carbon dioxide is reduced by NADPH to create glucose molecules in the Calvin cycle.

Annotation of the human genome sequence reveals a discrepancy between the number of protein-coding genes and the number of predi
balu736 [363]

Answer:

Human Genome project is the international project that main aim to sequence the human DNA base pairs. The total number of gene and protein product are also inferred by human genome project.

The result of proteomic analysis and human genome sequence is different. This is because the protein production of gene around 20, 000 might occur due to post translation modification and alternative splicing. This can be reconciled as DNA segment is read in two opposite directions and read in different ways.

Different organs and structures in the body feature specific types of epithelial cells. Classify the locations in the body as fe
Sidana [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

The epithelial tissue covers the body's surface. It originates from all the 3 germinal layers - ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. It presents different parts of the body. It protects different parts from any injury. It also helps in absorption and secretion.

There are 2 types of epithelial tissue - simple epithelial tissue and compound epithelial tissue.

The simple epithelial tissues are single layer cells. These are also different types such as squamous epithelium, cuboidal epithelium, columnar, ciliated and many more.

Squamous epithelial cells: These cells are flat, arrange together without any intercellular space. Simple epithelial cells are present in the outer covering of Bowman's capsule, alveoli of lungs, the lens of the eye.

Cuboidal epithelium: These are cube-like structure as its name suggest. They are secretory in function and present in the pancreas, thymus, etc.

Columnar epithelium: These are cylindrical in structure. The nucleus is present at the base. Such epithelial cells are present in the lining of the alimentary canal, gallbladder, bile duct. Its major function is the absorption of digested food.

Ciliated epithelium: These are simple columnar epithelium having cilia at one end. It is present in the uterine tube, respiratory tract.

Pseudostratified epithelium: The ciliated epithelium sometimes consists of tall and small cells. Many cells do not bear cilia. That's why they are known as the pseudostratified epithelium. It is present in the nasal cavity, trachea, bronchi.

Stratified epithelium: It is one type of compound epithelium. These are present in the epidermis of the skin, the lining of the buccal cavity.
