Answer:

d) Country borders do not reflect cultural groups.

Explanation:

You can look up a map of different ethnicities in Africa, just South Africa has 12 official languages. This is the result of the 'scramble for Africa' by european nations at the end of the XIX century.

Answer:

d) Country borders do not reflect cultural groups

Explanation:

Sub Saharan Africa is geographically located in the south of the Sahara .This countries are about 46 in numbers . Examples are Nigeria, Benin, Burundi, Cameron, Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso, Chad, Ivory Coast , Mali , Congo etc

Ethnic conflicts in these region are majorly caused by the dissimilarity in the cultural groups across the border. This region has one of the largest diversified cultural groups.

In this region the border does not reflect the cultural  groups and this has caused ethnic conflict and cleansing. I will use Nigeria and Cameroon as a case study . The region that borders Nigeria(cross river section) and Cameroon  has vast dissimilarity in the cultural  group, the part closer to the Nigeria borders speaks English while the part closer to Cameroon town speaks French. The differences in cultural group has caused more tension in both countries, creating ethnic war .
