Answer:

The construction of the iconic Hagia Sophia, the enlargement of the city, the legal reforms and the increased revenue, caused by his successful military campaigns.

Explanation:

During his reign, Justinian was well known for his attempts to restore the power of the roman empire. He managed to reconquer a large portion of the extinct West Roman Empire. As he reclaimed more and more territories to the empire, the empire's annual revenue was increased by over a million solidi ( each coin was made of 326.6g of pure gold).

He also built the Hagia Sophia, the largest building ever made until that date, and it has been said that it "changed the history of architecture".

Justinian was responsible for ensuring a constant water supply for Constantinople, through the construction of several underground cisterns. He built the great Sangarius Bridge, restored several cities damaged during the war and even built a new city called Justiniana Prima.

Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Christopher Columbus' voyage to the New World was financed and supported by Ferdinand II of Aragon and his wife Isabella I of Castile, the King, and Queen of Aragon. The couple became known as the "Catholic Monarchs".

Christopher Columbus mentioned in his diary that it was the couple who sponsored his expedition. Talking about the year 1492, Columbus wrote, <em>"In the same month in which their Majesties [Ferdinand and Isabella] issued the edict that all Jews should be driven out of the kingdom and its territories, in the same month they gave me the order to undertake with sufficient men my expedition of discovery to the Indies."</em> And that same year, the monarchs ordered the expulsion of Muslims and Jews from Spain.

Thus, the correct answer is true.
