Geography

A mineral is described as a naturally occurring chemical compound, usually of crystalline form and not produced by life processes.

Minerals are naturally occurring
They are not made by humans

Minerals are inorganic
They have never been alive and are not made up from plants or animals

Minerals are solids
They are not liquids (like water), or gases (like the air around you)

Minerals have a definite chemical composition
Each one is made of a particular mix of chemical elements

Minerals have an ordered atomic arrangement
The chemical elements that make up each mineral are arranged in a particular way - this is why minerals 'grow' as crystals

How does the over use of inorganic chemical affecting land and vegetation?
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

Fertilizers are examples of this.

Many fertilizers are inorganic meaning that they are generally not eco-friendly. So what happens when people over use inorganic chemicals on the land? Many things. First off, there’s contamination. When it rains, the chemicals are carried off into rivers, streams etc. by the runoff. The land is also affected by them because some of the chemicals are harmful and sometimes they cause the land to become infertile, so it can no longer be used.

Hope this helps and pls mark me brainliest :)
