Answer:

It is known that observation is an initial part of the steps of the scientific method, considered as the most historical method of data collection and justified by the great evolution that the observational method has experienced in recent years.

That observation cannot be considered part of the scientific method, it is convenient to distinguish ordinary observation and scientific observation, ordinary observation corresponds to a brief mental reading that could be more projection than a real observation, being casual perceptions or occasional, without direction to hypotheses and without intentionality of seeking relationship between variables. Instead, scientific observation is one that gives rise to the problem, hypothesis, variables and others in a scientific investigation.

Likewise, the main objective of the real observation is the verification of the observed phenomenon, with the need to anticipate the error that could alter its perception. Being then, the real observation, the set formed by the perception and the interpretation, for this a good sensory integrity (senses) must be specified for a correct or real observation.

Organisms inherit specific traits and characteristics from their parents. Albinism is an inherited disorder that occurs when an
Mumz [18]

The basic unit of heredity that carries the trait of albinism from parent to offspring is GENES. Thus, option "B" is correct.

What are genes?

Genes are considered the basic functional and structural units of heredity because they contain specific sets of instructions to encode specific proteins, which pass across generations (i.e., they are inherited).

During gene expression, specific fragments of DNA (i.e., genes) are used as templates to create specific complementary RNA sequences called messenger RNAs (mRNAs) by a process called transcription.

Subsequently, these mRNAs are used to synthesize proteins by a process called translation.

The proteins arrange in the cell to produce specific phenotypes, i.e., specific observable features or traits.

In conclusion, the basic unit of heredity that carries the trait of albinism from parent to offspring is GENES.

How might an error during transcription affect the protein that is produced?
dangina [55]

Answer:

The protein may not be able to function if an error occurs during transcription.

Explanation:

Explanation: mRNA is formed during transcription. If the error in the transcription occurred, the mRNA produced will be a temporary one and ultimately degraded.
