The fight-or-flight response is the response given by human body during to a threat or danger. There are certain hormones such as adrenalin and cortisol are released during the reaction that results in raising the heart rate, slowing down digestion process, shunting blood flow to some of the important muscle groups, and changing various some autonomic nervous functions and gives the human body  energy and strength.

Adrenaline and noradrenline are related but separate harmones. These are secreted  in the centre of the adrenal glands and in some neurons of the central nervous system. They carry  the nerve impulses to different organs. At times there may be vigorous and sudden action that acts as a threat to human body and  the role of adrenaline is to  make the human body to be prepared for the ‘fight or flight’ response.
