Answer:

The answer is D) milder than today's climate , with high precipitation

Explanation:

The La Brea tar pit is located in California. It is made up of many pits formed due to the seepage of bitumen from the subsurface to the surface which has accumulated over thousands of years.It is a prehistoric feature.Due to the sticky nature of the bitumen , many animals become stuck in it and die and they end up as fossils as the bitumen protecte their bodies from decomposition. The presence of a lot of fossilized herbivores indicates a flourishing environment with plenty grass to support the herbivores.This is supported by the presence of fossilized plant remains. The climate of California today is arid and would not be able to support the abundance of plants as it existed in the prehistoric times. This indicates that the climate of the prehistoric times was milder and had high precipitation to be able to support such an abundance of plants.

nekit [7.7K]

Mexico’s war of independence from Spain in 1821 resulted in a political system that that was dominated by military dictators

Explanation:

After freedom, Mexican governmental was dominated by military dictators. The administration changed hands multiple times in the following 55 years (1821–76).

The armed forces are influenced but did not rule directly which excludes personalist dictatorships, party dictatorships, and civilian governments. The Spanish endeavors to reconquer Mexico included scenes of war among Spain and the new country.

The assignment mostly covers two periods: from 1821 to 1825 in Mexico's waters, and a second time of two phases, including a Mexican intend to take the Spanish-held Island. Despite the fact that Spain never recaptured control of the nation, it harmed the juvenile economy.

A planet rotates on an axis through its poles and 1 revolution takes 1 day (1 day is 20 hours). The distance from the axis to
barxatty [35]

Answer:

1254.16 miles per hour

Explanation:

First, we need to calculate the circumference at 30° latitude

Circumference =2πR

Where R = Radius = 3990.5 miles

Circumference =2 * 22/7 * 3990.5 = 25083.143 miles

This is the distance traveled in one revolution

1 rev (according to the question) = 20 hours

Using dimentional analysis,

Linear Speed = Radius (25083.143) / Rev time (20)

Linear Speed = 25083.143 / 20

Linear Speed = 1254.16 miles per hour

Explain why an object moving in
vazorg [7]

An object moving in a circle is accelerating, even if it moves with a constant speed because the velocity changes.

Explanation:

The direction of an object changes constantly during its movement in circle at a constant speed. As the direction changes it results in changing the velocity of that object. This happens since velocity has direction and magnitude.as it is vector quantity.

An object will have acceleration only if a resultant force is acting on that body. When an object is moving in a circle, this resultant force is the centripetal force that is acting towards the center of the circle.
